1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Chalk app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Chalk is a sports team management application that allows coaches to manage rosters, schedules, attendance, and team communications. Parents and players may also use the App to view team information relevant to them.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Auto-Renewable Subscription: Chalk offers a Coach subscription ("Coach Monthly") that grants access to premium features. Subscription details:
- Name: Coach Monthly
- Length: 1 month, auto-renewing
- Price: $9.99 USD/month (or local equivalent)
- Free Trial: 3-day free trial for new subscribers
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. For refund requests, contact Apple Support directly.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (rosters, schedules, messages). By using Chalk, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the App. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter any personal information (such as player names) into the App.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Enter false, misleading, or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time within the App settings.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Use of the App is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chalk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
